Rides in SW England?

I have a friend who's currently in southwest England, and is looking for intermediate rides around
Exmoor, Exeter or Dartmoor. Any suggestions?

Not my part of the world, I'm afraid. I just had a look through a couple of magazines for routes,
but came up with nothing.
