Default Training Videos

Just bought a Nordictrack SL700 stationary bike. It's a bit boring just riding nowhere and listening
to tunes. Is there someone who makes MTB training DVDs? Something like a 30 minute trail ride?

I'm not familiar with anything that is MTB specific, but heres a few sites that offer tons of spinn
training videos:

Coach Troy's Spinerval videos: http://www.coachtroy.com/

Carmichael Training System's Trainright videos: http://www.trainright.com/

Cycling Videos.com http://www.cycling-videos.com/

for some good torture sessions I recomend "Mental Toughness" and "The Uphill Grind" from the
spinnervals site

Bwahhahahahahahahahaha, You have got to be kidding. Right? There isn't much that will keep a you off
your bike if you WANT to ride it. Forget the vidiot rides. I think you would enjoy the rides much
more even in ****ty weather than sitting in front of a screen. It is kind of like watching one of
Petes videos. It sucks sitting there watching, and not riding. Although entertaining! Even if you
are spinning like a gerbil.

Well, I did try to go out in the snow this weekend. Traction was there but once I got off the street
and into the deep stuff, I went nowhere fast. The snow was just too deep, wet, and sticky. I guess I
would have to hike the bike up the nearest hill and plow downhill. So, even watching the video
wouldn't be too bad.

I did string a few of Pete's and other's videos together for about 15 minutes of non-stop
non-action.

God, do you people read the entire thread? I replied to a message hours before yours that said I
strung a bunch of Pete's videos together. Get with the program and call your AA contact.

What you need now is a freeze. The best winter riding is to find the snowmobile or X-country ski
trails, where the snow has been compressed to the consistency of hard-pack. Starting with damp
snow is best.

When the snow gets too rigid, X-country skiers can't use it and tires rarely mess up the surface
anyways, so trail contention is usually not an issue. And you can hear a lazy-mans-sled coming a
mile away.

Just don't stray from the trail at speed. Sort of like coming off slickrock and hitting very deep
sand. Endos almost guaranteed, although landings can be softer. Also be aware that V-brakes are very
ineffectual with ice crystals on rims, and most suspension schemes will be slow and a bit sticky.

Add one helmet cam and make your own video. Sounds like there's a market for it ;-)

Please, I'm only a Demigod. You obviously don't use Google to read and post because posts take
anywhere from 4 to 24 hours to show. Get with your own program and ride your mountain bike instead
of some foolish contraption that you wasted your money on, fool.

I did today now that some of the snow melted. No, I don't use Google to read and post because of how
long it takes.
