K2

i have an old k2 comp 3 competition bike that im putting
back together, its a rigid bike, 1inch? headset ands its
red. anyone know what year it might be ? k2 doesn't know
since they didn't start in the state until 1998 .

I own one Proflex/K2 1998,one Proflex 856 1996,one K2 Attack
3.0 2000. Well their all 1 1/8 steerer. And your right K2
Bike was born 1998. I999 models Proflex was dropped and they
became just K2. I do know K2 comfort and hybred bikes were 1
inch steerer.
