I get home from work someone is yelling my name from a 1/4 mile up the road. I wait for the him to reach me he says I got a Mongoose frame you can have the parts off. I put my bike away and go take a look a look. Sram rear derailleur and grip shifter, crank arm to match a crank I have sitting around, seat post collar with QR. Now he hands me 4 ST. Pauli Girl dark beers and says thats for when your pulling everything off and you can trash the frame. The frame resides in the dumpster waiting for pick up on monday. I MTB 2004 |

Sounds like his bike will be a rebranded Intense but some of the real production (available to consumers) Mongooses' he rides are pretty sweet. They aren't all bad bikes just most of them ;-). |
