Except for the anaerobic/aerobic thread. Perhaps I should
have said "superthreshold" or "lactate endurance" or some
other catchphrase. Regardless, just about everyone knew what
I was talking about - working the legs and feeling the
lactate build up.

I'll have some more time to evaluate my running workouts.
Thursday night I went for a quick run a few hours after my
ride. I stepped on a 4" rock, twisted my foot/ankle, and
went down. Had to limp 1.5 miles home. Was stiff Friday and
needed a cane at some parts of the day. So it's strictly
cycling until that gets better. Heck, had my best 2x20
threshold cycling workout of the year this morning.

So thanks again for the good comments.

Well, given that it would seem most runners haven't a clue
about it, as long as we're talking about exercise that
involves getting seriously breathless, I don't think we
should sweat too much over words.
