Two questions in here ... first off is there a decent or any website for that matter that gives a detailed description or shows how to put together an up to date road bike? I have been racing for a while and honestly am far behind on the technical side of things. I feel I should be able to take apart and put back together my bike at the least.

Secondly for a time trial bike, is heavier a bad thing? Or do most people try and go as light as possible ....

Thanks :)

1.
Read some Magazines in the kiosk and visit http://www.roadbikereview.com/defaultcrx.aspx for reviews

2.
Weight is always important, but in case of a Timetrial: Weight comes after Aerodynamica :)
