I was trying out Dutch-style city bikes in Paris the other
day. There are very few models of this type on the French
market, because the French are almost exclusively interested
in VTTs. One shop stocked a model by a British maker I had
never heard of, Wembley. It was a very attractive 3-speeder
in a small size, and I was told that a model with 7 or 8 hub
gears was available to order.
I cannot find any information on this manufacturer on the
Web - all seaches on Wembley and Bicycle just lead to tons
of references to the band Queen!
Does anyone know about Wembley bikes or have comments?
