View Full Version : Is there a FAQ?

Is there a FAQ?

As the title suggests, is there a FAQ for this group?

I'm particularly interested in one with links on general
cycle maintenance (mountain bike ideally) so any pointers
would be appreciated.

I did search on google groups by the way, I'm not just a
lazy newbie!

Cheers

Sort of a bit kind of nearly .... er, no.

There's a bit of one at <url:http://www.chapmancentral.co.u-

Thanks for the reply Guy,

Anyone got any links to sites for general bike maintenance?
Nothing too advanced, just usual stuff like adjusting
derailleurs & brakes and that - I don't think I'm up to
frame and wheel building just yet!

Cheers

I suggest you just ask away. This is about the most friendly
group on Usenet, and someone is bound to be able to offer
informed advice.

Thanks again everyone who took time to reply - The parktool
site is just what I'm looking for,

I haven't got any specific questions yet, I'm just going to
give the bike a once over and make sure everything is
working as it should.

I'm a bit of a fairweather cyclist you see so it's been in
the garage for the last 6 months!

Cheers

Oy you, don't you call me friendly. I know what kind of an
insult that is: I'm well informed.
