View Full Version : Just bought a treadmill - thx for advice!

Well, today my wife finally realised her wishes and in a fit
of untold generousity (!!), I finally caved in and we
purchased a machine.

This baby goes to 20 km/h (12 mph), has a 16% incline,
integrated heart-rate training with Polar chest strap, has a
3hp continuous motor and oodles of programs etc. Looks like
it will fit the bill and maybe I'll even get to increase my
fitness too - hopefully without invading the joyous hours I
spend running in the nearby national park.

So thanks to those of you who gave advice to my previous
post and I look forward to being able to run with no excuses
about rain, too dark, too cold, too hot... etc. :)

Cheers, Dave ... it will be located conveniently close to
the bar fridge though... hehe

Do you mind sharing what you bought and how much it cost?

Hi Jim,

No problem at all. Check out http://www.easyfitness.com.au/-
pages/treadmills.htm#Profile7650HRC for a limited spec. The
machine in Sydney retails for AUD3300 plus delivery (about
$100). We got it for $2790 delivered, including about $300
of additional items - incl. mat, silicon spray etc.

Cheers, David E.

I'll guess 6 weeks, before that treadmill is just a high
priced clothes hanger taking up space in your
house..........trailer.
