Visiting Austin, TX - running groups or a race?

Hi. We are visiting Austin the weekend of the 24th (staying
downtown) and looking for a good running group or a 5k race
that weekend. Does anyone have info on this?

Check out www.runtex.com, the site for the main running
store in town; looks like a good resource. They list a 5K
on the 25th.

Check out www.runtex.com for all things Austin running. They
have races that weekend, and if you are staying downtown,
you have easy access to the TownLake trail. You can run 15
miles on this trail easy without getting bored. Lots of
runners and plenty of water available. The website has trail
maps to this and many other Austin options.

I also ran the marathon in Austin and can attest that this
is a great running city.
