Both are OT and both are examples of atypical behaviour of
drivers which are best discussed elsewhere.

The latter perhaps, but failing to adapt to the road
condisiotns is pretty common. Both OT, though.

Since she is clearly incapable of sufficient observation to
drive a car one has to ask how she would deal with other
"hazards" like cyclists?

>>The court heard driving conditions on the day of the
>>accident had been hazardous and flashing signs had been
>>put up warning motorists to slow down because of ice.
>>
>>O'Brien told magistrates she had not seen the signs.

If she cannot "see" flashing signs then she is not going to
"see" cyclists either.

F566DA0E I will always explain revoked keys, unless the UK
government prevents me using the RIP Act 2000.

Atypical drivers. But not atypical of the miserable failure
of the criminal law to protect us from them.

Tester: Now then Ms O'Brien. It's icy - how might you adjust
your driving. O'Brien: Erm... Tester: Would you slow down
maybe? O'Brien: Yes Tester: Ok you've passed. Well done.

Shouldn't be anywhere near a car or road.

It seems that any version of SMIDSY will do to reduce the
charge from dangerous to careless driving. And yes, I do
appreciate that a carless driving charge is more likely to
result in a conviction.

Apparently so. Pity the bastards in cars cause most of the
problems, really...
