Presumably anyone receiving head injuries in Swindon while
wearing a hat will be obtaining significant payouts given
the council's guarantee that, in Swindon, helmets prevent
head injury?

Is this performance guarantee insurance backed? Can they be
persuaded to extend the scheme nation-wide?

What gets me is that the producers of the h*lmets wouldn't
dare to make such a claim as it would leave them wide open
to be sued in the event the statement could be disproved but
any number of poorly informed pseudo official groups feel
free to make frivolous claims.

I pointed this out to them, and have just received
this reply:

taken the page down temporarily to make the changes. Thanks

While you are in contact with them, have you pointed out
that BeHIT's site is not an accurate appraisal of the issue,
and if they must link to BeHIT they should also link to
cyclehelmets.org?
