where to hire a tandem near Oxford?

My beloved and I are planning a week at Easterish around Oxford. Does anyone know of a place
where we might hire a tandem for a day? I've tried the Tandem Club site, and Cycleweb.co.uk, but
to no avail.

Anywhere within 50 miles of Oxford would be helpful. If this goes well I'm hoping to convince her to
let me open my wallet and buy us one.

You might try:

Warlands, 63 Botley Rd, Oxford, 01865 241336.

They stock Dawes tandems and claim to have demonstrator models available for hire. In practice
they've been short of stock whenever I've asked in the last couple of years, and so unable to keep
back a demonstrator, but I have no recent news. They may be able to suggest somewhere else nearby,
if they can't help you themselves.

Cheers Henry and Helen, I'd tried cycleweb and tandem-club, but it never occured to me to ring shops
to get a referral to another shop - I'm not that cheeky, but I'll give it a go.
