View Full Version : Polar 725 or Ciclosport HAC4 or ...

Hey People,

I'm finally gonna ditch my polar a1 and get something a
little more appropriate for a more "serious" approach to
my training.

I use zeropace.com's excellent training log software which
seems to support loads of HRM's and am trying to decide
which one to splash out on....

I want, in order of importance;
- PC Download and analysis / review
- Usual heartrate guff (custom zones, time in zone etc etc)
- Speed, Cadence & Altitude

I can't decide between the hac4 or s725 - or are their new
products emerging onto the market that will render them
obsolete in a fortnight ;-)?

Anyone done any kind of appraisal or comparisons???????

TIA, Mark

I have a S725. Have been very please with it so far but I
have no experience on the Hac4.

I chose it as I want to use it for cycling and running
amongst other things and the Hac is very large on the wrist.

The Power/Cadence sensor is not out yet afaik and it will be
about £90.

Have had no probs with IR uplink. Worked 1st time. I had it
6 weeks so far and am just starting to understand some of
the more obscure functions.

(Sorry if this appears twice).

I found this useful:

Decided the HAC4 was the way to go, should be good for
running too as it's not *that* cumbersome. Strangely the
gradient and altitude stuff seems just a valid for
running to me...
