squeaky brakes in the cold?

Was out on a group ride yesterday morn and it was the first really cold morning of the year (1 degree c) and i found my front brake started squeaking. This stopped once the temperature started warming up a bit. I have never had this happen before. I am running campag centaur on the front.

Anyone had a similar occurrence or can explain how this happens?

Moisture maybe?
