At last! After only five weeks, back on the bike. OK it was
only 15 miles, to the finish of the SGlos 100km Audax, where
I pretended to have ridden the whole route, but it was
exhilarating!
The broken elbow was slightly troubling, but sufficient
quantities of elbow grease (pints of pain suppresant)
ensured that I got home with no problems.
All I need now is for the CTC legal department to ring and
confirm that my (large) compensation cheque is in the post.
