Consultation on cycling and walking

DfT are consulting on two Local Transport Notes about
walking and cycling. The first is Policy Planning and design
for walking and cycling, and the other is Adjacent and
shared use facilities for pedestrians and cyclists.

I haven't read the suggested changes yet, but this would
appear to be an ideal opportunity to nail those godawful
shared use tracks so beloved of local authorities who have
to be seen to "do something" about cycling.

Closing date is the 30th August.
