Out tonight

putting some effort before my first 25miler TT on Wednesday
night .... going through an old mining village @ 15mph
passing a row of parked cars on my left ... young 13 year
old decides to "cycle out of between said parked cars made
contact wi big bill d ... colleague behind me goes over the
top of me.

Damage: skint elbows, broken wrist, 9 stitches in left knee,
right knee badly grazed & bruising to left shoulder ...oh
boy it bloody hurts

Just when your doing well ... it all goes tits-up thanks to
a 12 year old whose parents probably have not heard of
cycling proficiency

gutted :( is your mate ok? sounds like you will be off the
bike for a good couple of months at least.

True - why did it stop being given to everyone? Did RoSPA
stop making the pamphlets or somesuch?

Not nice. Hope the police were called (because you
were injured) and you'll sue the child (or its
parents) for damages.
