View Full Version : cop on bike...

Spotted a cop on a stealth push bike in Willenhall West
Mids today (Wolves not Cov.). Definitely the coolest thing
Willenhall has seen for a long time....'part from me of
course 8-D ...and the best thing was, he was moving an
illegally parked WVM off the double yellows, opposite
Somerfield exit, in front of banks. These yellows seem to
be a special marking to allow FLB (fat lazy b*stards) to
get money from the bank ATMs without having to travel too
far from their beloved cages. Unfortunately the cop
disagreed and moved him on...Brilliant!!!, I almost stopped
and applauded. Interesting fact - cop had long(ish)
highlighted hair, causing confusion as to whether it was a
cop or not. Very amusing as he was tall, tanned, good
looking and obviously fit (no!, I'm not gay or owt ;-).
Very competent on his bike, totally confident and a cool
uniform to boot (or possibly not, given exercise and local
ambient temperature.....) Excellent, money well spent at
last!!! Dave.

I heard on a talk show once that it wasn't illegal to
park on yellow lines if you told the warden you were
collecting valuables, including money. Don't know if he
was mistaken or not.

Around these 'ere parts it seems to be accepted practice
that yellow lines = reserved parking spaces for the hard of
thinking ;-)

Money is not goods, for the point of collecting or
delivering goods while parked briefly on yellows.

(Test case in England & Wales many years ago).
