Unfortunately you will need a time machine to get there. Here is a picture
of the very centre of Hull in 1955. Interesting to see the complete absence
of any road markings and the amount of room those cyclists riding two
abreast have even with the bus behind them. Needless to say this same street
is choked with cars these days :-(

I'm not sure I would like to have to have gone back to
riding those heavy bikes they had in them days.
