TCR 2 and 3

Hi, is there anyone riding a TCR comp 3 ?
My lbs told me that TCR comp 2 and TCR comp 3 are both using the same frame but different groupset.
Is this true?

Correct, I think -- within a given model year, each alloy TCR is the exact same frame, and each composite TCR is the same as well. Differ only in paint job and, of course, component spec.

How much is the TCR Comp 2 going for now?
Is it using Ultrega groupset?
TCR Comp 3 with full 105 groupset cost about US$1450.

The LBS here has the TCR 2 comp for around $2K...and yes it's ultegra

Which is the TCR 3 comp you're talking about? The only bikes I know of are the TCR Composite Team, 0, 1, and 2. Then there is the TCR Alloy with a mix of Ultegra and 105. The Giant frames are all the same within their individual category, but the forks (some have alloy steerers, others have full carbon) and components can be different.

I can't find the specs for TCR 3 comp from Giant's own website as well, and my LBS is selling it! Is it weird or what?

I was trying it, yep, 100% fibre man! Grahite grey the color is.
Very light, even with the junky ALEX rims :D

FYI, I am from Singapore, and the LBS has it with Tiagra (not 105) groupset and cost just S$1450!!
What a steal!

Maybe not.There is a Tiagra expert here that claims it will drop chains,miss cogs and shift when it isn't supposed to.Be very afraid.;) :D
