Phloxy
Hi,
I ran the 2004 Los Angeles Marathon as my first marathon
this past March. I stayed with a friend while I was in LA,
and I left behind the freebie marathon poster that they give
out with the race packets at the expo. In the intervening
weeks, my poster was apparently destroyed.
I'm posting in hopes that someone has a 2004 LA Marathon XIX
poster that they don't need or don't want and would be
willing to give or sell to me.
I don't think losing this poster would matter so much to me
except that this was my first marathon, and it would be
really nice to have
it. You never forget your first--it's an experience that
can't be duplicated no matter how many other marathons
one runs or how many faster or more satisfying
performances one might have.
So I guess I'm sentimental, and it's making me really
hopeful that I can replace this lost piece of paper. So I
thought it might be worth a shot posting here and on other
running lists that I'm on.
Thanks! nancy
