New master's women 5k world record

View Full Version : New master's women 5k world record

Parker Race

Colleen DeReuck set a new Master's World 5k record of 15:48
at The Freihofer's Run for Women in Albany NY yesterday, she
was 2nd to Marla Runyan who came agonizingly close to a new
course record.

The women from the team I belong had the top performances
among local Capital District teams in the Open, Master and
Senior divisions.

And our own Jen-e-fir also ran. She did finish in the
top 100 but a long way from the money. I missed
watching the race this year but it's normally a feast
of flesh to watch. ;)
