View Full Version : UK graduate medicine

Anna

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any information on studying
medicine as a graduate in the UK? I am currently 2nd year
Natual Science with Biochemistry, and am applying in October
to Warwick/Leicester, Bristol, Southampton and Oxford (yeah,
like I'll get in!). I was mainly wondering about financial
status - are you an undergraduate or postgraduate (as I know
you can get a loan, and an NHS bursary for last 3 years)?

Also about entry requirements - I should get a 2:1 (fingers
crossed), have arranged a day shadowing an ENT consultant,
and do volunteer work on a hospital ward, but is there
anything else that will give me more of an edge over other
candidates?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Anna
