Now that Mayo is the new King, what side shows will Lance
now participate in, that before were strictly out of the
question due to the tdf considerations? Some of the
classics, or more appearances in US events?

Yes, Mayo's good form is ominous.

He is now certain to crash out on some Belgian cobbles in
the first week of the Tour.

erm nothing, only the TdF has relevance for his sponsors.

Like the little he did in last year's tour? I've seen
kids race across pasture land faster than Lance did,
after Beloki exploded in front of him. No cyclocross
future here.

of course, isn't that always the way it happens. To be a
King, you have to think like a King. Look at Lance last
year, physically he wasn't the best one there, but he
was the best one mentally. Beloki, forces him to go
cross country, a spectator pulls him down, and these
incidences actually make him stronger. I don't know if
Mayo can think like a King, but we'll see.
