View Full Version : RAAM rider needs crew, expenses paid summer adventure...

Matt O'Toole

Bike club comrade and friend James Rosar is riding the RAAM
this year. He qualified the other day and is otherwise good
to go, but he's a little short of crew. So far he has two
people signed on for the duration, but needs about 4 more.
So if you're free from 6/19 to 7/2, and you're looking for
an adventure, James could use your help! --Matt

> Hey, my entering the 2004 Insight Race Across America
> should be proof enough that I need help, but really - what
> I need help with is with crew. No one does this race
> alone, it's too dangerous! Each rider has to have a
> vehicle with flashing lights on driving along the roadside
> right behind them, day and night, for both defense from
> traffic and to direct and support the rider. I'm looking
> for anyone with both a driver's licence and the time to
> spare to be a part of my crew. If I accept you, I'll pay
> your transportation to the start in San Diego and back
> from Atlantic City, and room and board for the remainder.
> Those with suitable skills, experience and friends may
> receive additional compensation. It's a two week event,
> from June 19th to July 2nd, and I need at least six
> people. This will be one major adventure, and not for the
> wimps! Wanna go?

If you're interested, you've gotta let me know really soon,
like Monday the 14th at the latest! --James
