Online registration has been activated for the Murrysville
Cycling Classic in Murrysville, PA (20 minutes east of
Pittsburgh).
Thanks to our sponsors, we will award over $11,000 in cash
and over $3,000 in merchandise primes. New this year will be
custom glass team trophies for the Cat. 4, Cat. 3 and
Master's 35+ races awarded to the team that puts the most
riders in the top 15 places. The team prime for the Pro-1/2
race has just been increased to $500. and with a bit more
work may go to $1,000. There will also be additional bonus
money for the top Cat. 2 rider in the Pro-1/2 race. There
will be a separate 30 mile Cat. 4 women's race with separate
prize list provided that at least 15 Cat. 4 women pre-
register by July 4th.
Our principal sponsor for 2004 is UPMC Center For Sports
Medicine. UPMC Center for Sports Medicine have developed a
state of the science cycling research lab at their facility
in Pittsburgh that will offer a variety of services to
analyze and improve performance for the competitive cyclist.
UPMC Center For Sports Medicine will host an open house the
afternoon before the Murrysville Classic where you can also
pick up your preregistration race materials for Murrysville.
