Just beginning to think about my next road bike (probably a
year or so after I have executed the bank robbery
successfully! ;)) and have come accross Litespeed and in
particular the Ghisallo 04. They look superb, but at over 2
grand for a frame it is going to have to be a big robbery!
Can anybody say anything about this particular frame or the
company as a whole?

I was planning on spending around 2 grand for the
whole bike, but this frame has prompted me to have a
little rethink.

I want one of those Ghisallo frames! Anybody wanna help with
the planning and execution of the robbery? ;) :D

I ride a Vortex. I didn't go for the Ghisallo because I
don't not like compact geometry frames.

100% pleased with the bike and the company, cannot fault it.

Go to the Litespeed web site and check out the forum.

You could check out Omega cycles if you want titanium. (I've
got one of thier audax bikes and think it's great). The
Radius had areally good write up in the comic recently. See
http://www.omegacycleworks.com/radiusti.htm for details.

Girlfriend has a Velo, which is of a considerably lesser
spec than what you have your eyes on [guess it would be at
$1500], but she really likes it with no problems so far.

Garry [has only 'dump' bikes!]

Although Litespeed do offer more frame styles, there's not
much it does that my Habanero can't. The Habanero is a lot
closer to your budget, and (IMHO) it's a nicer finish too.

That would be 'Vela'. Only problem so far is falling off
it ;-) Bought it October, 2003, cost me USD1200. Worth
every penny.

I have one of those too... Rather fond of it, actually!
