View Full Version : Zabel & Aldag
Looks like these lads have decided that a Tour Blog will pay
better than bike riding.
The movie is to be released soon in Germany and probably
elsewhere too.

If Zabel can get a little security out of this, and Aldag
wants to ride along that's fine. Erik has earned it and
with the end in sight why not? How goes the travels? Where
are you based now, and have you found anyone to take the
six day site? Bill C

I was out in Western Canada for a couple of months but won't
be doing much travelling outside Canada until next year.
I do have some plans for some early season Poor Mans/Womans
Tours and/or Traning Camps based in Antibes that are quite
well advanced but won't debut until late next year. They
will be _really_ inexpensive and I have had quite a bit of
interest already and if everything goes according to plan
they should be a hit given the fact that unlike the more
mainstream operations, I don't have to generate profits.
Breakeven would suit me just fine.
And as for the website, I will try to run it for the next
Six-Day season (2004-2005) but it will probably be
impossible to maintain it due to other committments and
interests after that. It is hard enough from a stable base
in Toronto and I just can't see how I will be able to do it
at a reasonable cost when I have no fixed address. Having
said that though, I did add quite a bit of content a couple
of days ago.
Toodles,

Oh man, I want to see this. I have all the respect in the
world for both Zabel and Aldag. I wish I had learned German
instead of French!

Yes, it should be a great documentary.
And incidentally, for anyone who only saw still photos of
the Beloki Crash last year, the trailer includes that
unfortunate incident.
Klick on the ``Bild & Musik'' menu item and look for
``Trailer Gross''. There are two versions and according to
what software you have on your computer you should be able
to either play them in your browser or download them. One is
a .mov file and the other is in .asf format (Micro$oft for
some reason refers to .asf format as .mov)
If you have a slow modem you should perhaps go for the
``Trailer Klein`` which is exactly the same content but
smaller viewing area.

Have you noticed how active Chung is lately, working on
his website?

Davey is getting senile. Above line should read:
