diatomic chlorine gas, Cl2. Chlorine is used as a low
concentration biocide in our water supplies and at various
concentrations in industrial and other applications.

That's a far cry from chemically bound OR free disassociated
CHLORIDE ions (Cl-) which are contained THROUGHOUT EVERY
LIVING CREATURE'S BODY, not to mention throughout ALL OF THE
EARTH'S WATER.

That is the biggest load of bull**** (to steal from Penn &
Teller's show) I've ever seen. It might seem to make a lot
of sense to someone who never advanced beyond junior-high-
level chemistry, but telling two half-truths does not make
one a truthful person. Having given it just a cursory
glance, I found at least half a dozen factual errors.

Strange. I would have thought you'd read your own
references. The link you cited recommends eating sea
salt, which presents the same problem: deadly
chlorine and toxic sodium.
