View Full Version : 1" suspension forks

Hi all,

Does anyone know if any suspension forks are availabl these days with a 1" steerer tube, or is everything being made in 1 1/8".

I have a (now quite old) Orange Prestige, that hasn't been used for some time, but is still an excellent bike, and I'd like to get it back up to what it used to be rather than spend a lot of money ona new bike (or even a second hand one). Currently it has a pair of Manitou 4's on it (as well as the original forks in a box somewhere) If I can't get hold of any then, I'll have to start aving up (and convincing gf that yet another bike is REALLY necessary :-)

Marzocchi MX Comps on chainreactioncycles with a 1" Aheadset

Dont kow about replacement elastomers for the old Manitous
but you should be able to get new springs to replace them.
