What the hell is going on here !!!!! I pull this group up
and 10 of 25 threads are about Bush, Moore and Kerry. Please
take this political **** somewhere else ! How the hell can I
read Lafferty's rants on LA without stepping in the ****
from a NY Wino, Steve, Veloman, and some dude named Gary.
Even the regulars Richard, Robert and Tom have fallen victim
to this dribble. The only qualifed person to mix politics
and cycling is Patrick O'Grady. Resist the temptation to
reply to this crap........the only crap that's worth a crap
is from Kunich, Lafferty, Ronde Champ, Mr. Sunquist, Warren
and yours truly !!! Where the hell is Lafferty when you need
him ......

You have to admit that it's a lot better than Lafferty's
"everyone is doping" routine.

No, that's the problem. Lafferty's "Everyone is doping"
routine is tiresome and irritating. If the political stuff
was funny no one would complain. But it sucks. It's way
WORSE than "Tout le monde est dopage".
What scares me is that I am starting to think like Tosi.
People like Stevie should be sentenced to death.

Danilo di Luca and Lance Armstrong ? Wouldn't it be cool for
Lance to show up in his Boxer oufit and kick the **** out of

think she has a bike, DUI made her invest in one from

are doing a little TDF pool at work based on a points
system. 20 points for each correct answer: goes something
like this: Top 5 Final GC KOM Sprint Best Young Rider Name
the winner of the Prologue,and winners on Stages-
4,6,9,12,16,17,19,20 Bonus points for the number of times
that Bob Roll will say "TOUR DAY FRANCE" durning the OLN
"live" coverage. Repeat showings don't count Kunich ! Care

They (and I mean Steve in particular) drag this crap into
newsgroups with a weaker powerbase because they're tired of
getting thumped in the groups where that sort of thing
belongs. I was just looking at rec.games.board (or something
like that) and see the same crap there and worse. At least
the group isn't overrun with the mental diarrhea of MV (who
pretty much singlehandedly destroy rec.bicycles.off-road and
is doing his damndest to do likewisce to rec.bicycles.soc)

Yeah, nothing like a good helmet or dope rant. BTW, saw
Brooks has a leather saddle out fit for a racing bike. They
oughta be compulsory if for looks alone.
