Milwaukee are bike clubs?

I'm new to the Milwaukee area and would like to give road
racing a try. Does anyone know of any local clubs that
welcome aspiring racers to group rides?

The list of clubs isn't complete because not all belong to
the WCA. For a complete list go to

I've been out of the loop in that part of the state for some
years now so I'm not going to recommend a club. But that's
where I'd start.

I've been out of the loop as well, but I'd stop by your
local bike shop and tell them that you're interested in
starting to race and are looking for some rides. Wheel and
Sprocket seems to have a good base of active riders as well
as Rainbow Jersey. Patio used to, not sure if they still do.
I also see some guys in the Cudahy area with "Polska" on
their shorts, not sure where they are from, but I see them
quite often out on the roads.
