Just wondering if anyone could recommend a good mechanic in Connecticut or even Mass. or NY - preferably one who has experince with high end frames and components.

On a recommendation I took my bike to a shop recently for a BB creak problem & it came back in worse shape - reluctant to continue with this particular shop.

Any solid recommendations would be appreciated.

Well a good place to start is where you got your bike. Next I would look for a place that sells high end bikes and has them in stock. I have to sigh because they a few and far between near me. Luckily I can do most things myself. Crank noise can be troublesome and certainly annoying. Its not beyond the scope of even an average bike shop though. Usually it is a loose crank arm. It can also be pedal, chanwheel bolt, bottom bracket, small frame crack. If you took your bike to get fixed and its not take it back and demand it be done right or get your money back. Thats a no brainer.
