View Full Version : Would you run up to someone in traffic?
Today, I was in the left lane of a construction area. The
left turn lane was torn out and someone was trying to make a
left turn from the wrong lane for it.
I looked a little closer at the situation and saw a "No Left
Turn Sign" on the road. The light just turned red, so I got
out of my Van and ran up to the driver trying to make a an
illegal left turn.
I said, the sign says "No Left Turn" He shook his head like
he agreed, then I went back to my own van. When the light
went green, the driver went straight and made a left at the
next light where there were two lanes just for making left
turns and no construction.
Would you have done that? Would you run up to someone
blocking traffic because they could not read the road signs?
No one thanked me for it and they probably even thought I
was crazy, but I love to run every chance I get. ;-)
I would have shot you with my anti-rape tazer.
Here in the northeast, the guy in the car would get out and
***** slap you till you wet your pants, then run the red
light making an illegal left turn. But then, maybe that's
just me...

Hmmm..... No!
Unless his left turn was onto a one way street going the
wrong way, I would have just let him make the turn anyway.
Who really cares? And besides, when you approach people
like that, you never know what kind of reception you are
going to get.

I thought about it later, and I probably should have just
taken a photo of
it.
I was expecting him to do something strange, so I had plenty
of running power left. I probably could have run right over
the top of his car before he could get out of it. ;-)

You know I'm dead serious when I say this. If you did this
in Mass you'd get your face punched in. I must admit, I'd
punch you if you did that to me.

Since the left turn lane was blocked, there was no way for
him to trip the left turn arrow. With the rush hour traffic,
there was no way for him to make an illegal left turn
without the arrow.
If I wanted to wait for him, I could have waited ½ hour for
the traffic to clear up, but I wasn't up to that.
If I think of an accident I prevented, then I guess I am a
good guy after all.

Of what? A guy making an illegal turn?

Why? Full moon?

I can see it now, just like in that movie. You jump out, run
up over his car, as he gets out you do three clockwise
circles around it, then three counterclockwise, then
catapault over the car, landing directly in front of him. He
reaches out and slaps you once, you go down like a sack of
potatoes, landing on your knees and elbows with your ****
buckedup in the air crying like a 4th grader. End results
the same, you get ***** slapped, he drives away saying
"runners, what pussys"...
How could you get close enough???? As soon as you reached
for the door handle I'd be gone.
FYI I can sprint faster than a 4 minute mile and it
takes too many seconds for someone to jump out of their
car. I mean, get real, if you could get a good start
from a car, then why aren't starting blocks made with
doors and car seats?
Where did you get your brains at? Walgreen's?
But, next time I think I'll just take a photo of everything
and then run it down to the PD.

Nice. What do you do when people say hello? Just curse them
out instead?

This reminds me of my bumper sticker: God loves you,
everyone else thinks you're an asshole.

I got news for you dickhead, I'd be out of my car the very
second your door opened. I've been in the stuatiion before
of being threatened when I was stuck sitting in my car, and
now if I see someone exiting a vehicle at a light, in front
or behind me, I am ready. I am a long distance runner via
training, but my anaerobic sprinting is second to none, for
about 50' anyway, I'd run you into the ground.

I'd be out of my car before you got anywhere near mine. It
takes a tiny dickweed like you just as long to get out of a
car as anyone else.
> Where did you get your brains at? Walgreen's?
Yes, Beats yours from Walmart.

I suggest you do that. That way a cop can punch you in the
mouth too, for wasting his time.
You don''t realize how much I was watching for an irate
driver. You think I would have done that if my legs were not
up to par.
You were not there and have no idea how careful I was
incase it was someone with a very short fuse. It doesn't
matter if you were the fastest man in the world, I was
ready for that too.
You still haven't answered how many seconds it would take
you to get out of your drivers seat and why they do not
build starting blocks with a door and a car seat. You are
full of threats and no facts. Maybe you don't have a
brain at all.
Let's say something did happen. I am sure there were other
irate drivers stuck between us, that didn't like waiting for
that asshole trying to make an impossible left turn and
might have sided with me.

You really are a total dickhead. Read on...

So you think you're the only one ready for irate
drivers punk? I flip off enough people that I stay
ready for anything.

So YOU'RE the fastest man alive, and nobody, no how, could
POSSIBLY as ready as you for that situation? You really do
wear a Spiderman costume running, don't you?
> You still haven't answered how many seconds it would take

The same as it'd take you. You seem to think you're the
only one prepared? This line of thinking will get you
killed someday.

Someone asking why they don't build starting blocks with
a door, and you have to call ME stupid? You are a
complete asswipe.

Sorry, normal, average drivers would cheer the guy on as he
beat you senseless, not join you in ganging up on him like
in your little fantasy world. I think I saw you out at the
reservoir today, you were the one talking to geese as you
picked up empty beer cans. Well, maybe not, that guy made
sense occasionally.
