Great day for a run - moderate humidity - temps probably
about 80 degrees. But, most of all, I did it! Time was slow
- foot hurt but I covered the distance in 66:08. Hubby did
it in something like 41 and change - great PR for him.
Thanks for reading - Linda

I am so impressed. Eighty degrees and moderate humidity
doesn't sound like the best racing day to me. You did a
great job in tough conditions. It will be interesting to see
what you can do in the fall when it's cooler with less
humidity. Those things slow me down a lot. You many discover
that you have a bit more speed in you than you thought.
Congratulations! Michelle

Congrats on the your race! Was your foot hurting prior to
the race, or did that happen during? What was wrong? Hope
you've recovered from it and feeling no pain.

By the way, around here we like our race reports to be
at least three or four paragraphs.... and it is
perfectly acceptable to post something with LONG in the
subject line :)

Nice racing,

Cam

Thanks - but, I was slow - looked at my time on Compuscore,
I was in the last 70 people out of about 700. Yuck - so that
was the lowest 10% - I felt fine but I have a neuroma on my
right foot - ball of foot
- hurts like heck when doing longer distances.

Thanks - you are too nice - I guess I was just kind of
disgusted by how slow I was. But, maybe it's just that a lot
of better runners showed up. I have a neuroma on the bottom
of my foot - podiatrist said it's like a growth on some
nerve on teh ball of my foot - so, imagine, pain that is
sort of burning/aching while you are running and sometimes
shooting - kicked in aroudn mile 4 and I had to walk but
actually, the walkign hurt more than the running. Then, I
hate to say this, but hubby ran back to me after completing
the run in like 41 mins and that just plain annoyed me. He
thought he was encouraging me but he was annoying because it
was like "well, I finished and still have plenty of energy
to run your last 2 miles". I know he meant well but I told
him to buzz off - irrational but oh well. So, how's this for
more verbage? - Linda

STFU you stupid *****! This is a fre forum, and you are
bound by no rules. I guess to a ***** like him it's too much
trouble to open the message, see it's too long for a limited
vocabulary, and not read it. Instead some retards need a
warning label. These are the same people that need the
warning "do not dry your hair while sleeping in the bathtub"
on blow dryers.

Too nice? He's a rude, belligerent asshole, who pretty much
slapped your face.
