I know the topic of Long Term Care insurance comes up here
from time to time. we were in the process of making app for
LTC - my wife is a Type II and is just making the transition
to insulin.
At the time of her app she wasn't on insulin and the reps
indicated that non-insulin dependent Type IIs would be
considered - not automatically rejected. During the wait for
approval she's gone on Lantus which her records reflect of
course and that app is still pending although I suspect it's
soon to be turned down.
Wonder if anyone with insulin-dependent DM has been
successful at locating an LTC insurer? I tend to doubt it
but thought I'd pose the question before giving up entirely.
