We had a set of Duncan Hines, Stainless Steel Cookware by
Regal Ware for many years. This week when I picked up a
large pot with two handles one of the handles just fell off.
Lucky that the pot was not full of boiling soup because it
would have badly burned me. Looking closely I found that
although the pot itself is made of stainless steel meaning
that rust will not attack it the bracket to which the
handles are attached as well as the attaching screw were not
stainless steel. The non-stainless bracket corroded and fell
off. If you have any of these stainless pots make sure that
the handles are secure they can fall off without any
warning. I would like to write the company about that. Does
onyone know where to write?

Any cookware with Duncan Hines endorsement on it is most
likely from the 1950's or 1960's (*maybe* early 70's). I
think you should be happy they've lasted that long and
understand that nothing lives forever and **** happens.

There is a Regal Ware website, if you must.

Lucky you. I dumped a pot of boiling elbow mac on my foot
one fine evening. It was no an experience I care to repeat.

Nothing on the web is indisputable. Nothing anywhere is
indisputable!
