I am not sure whether tau exists in all Alzheimers victims
along with betaamyloid. I had heard there was a genetic
hereditary Alzheimers that is speeded up and whether that
form of Alzheimers has tau also. Some expert in Alzheimers
would know. What I am here to offer is a Transposon
explanation for Alzheimers.
We have a Model, quite a good one I believe in the APP
scissors gone roguish and cuts proteins that create
betaamyloid. But the tau protein is left out of this
picture. But if we inject the Transposon idea into
Alzheimers then the Transposon is the culprit for making the
APP scissors rogue in the first place.
So, if I understand Transposon mechanics to any degree of
accuracy, as the Transposon is replacing the innate genetics
it discards the innate gene. In so doing it would create
some protein molecules in the process of discarding the
innate genetics. So I am thinking that the rise of tau in
connection with Alzheimers is due to this Transposon
incorporation into the host genome and the discarding of the
innate genes has a "Tau protein molecule" involvement.
In my other posts I have made the claim that in aggregate
these 3 diseases of Alzheimers, Parkinsons and Prion are
caused by innate genetic heredity of 75% of the cases and
only 25% are due to "catching the disease from the
environment". But I guessed at that 75%. It maybe closer to
90%. Judging from Alzheimers it seems as though it is
predominantly genetic heredity. But if Transposons are the
outside foreign culprits that cause these 3 diseases, then
it could be that the environment causes 50% of the cases of
these diseases. They are diseases of old age and would take
decades for these transposons to travel.
