View Full Version : uvula infection?

Hi I woke up today with what looked like a blood clot on
the tip of my uvula. It looked dark red like(almost black)
like clotted blood.I once had one such on the inside of of
my cheeks , and it was due to cheek biting. Now there's no
way I could have bitten my uvula.Could this be realted to
my sinus problems or snoring(I do snore significantly).
Later in the day I gargled with an anti septic mouthwash
and the blob seemed to have washed away , even though
there's still some redness on the tip of the uvula.Any
ideas? It's no painful at all. jm
