Crash and risk of handlebar breaking

Brink

I crashed my road bike about 2 weeks ago going 22 miles per
hour. My bikes seems fine except for the bar tape is scraped
up a little. I was thinking that it might be a good idea to
remove the tape for inspection of the bars. My other thought
was maybe I should replace the bars.

Any thoughts about the bars.

thanks ---Brink

If the bars are straight and don't have big gouges, they
should be fine.

It can't hurt to have a look, since you need to replace the
tape anyway.
