The literature is a little vague concerning what fork has
what features. And nothing about basic setup.
I just picked up my frame Thursday and fork Friday, and took
'em to my LBS Saturday morning (fork from my LBS, frame from
a different LBS). I still need crankset (on the way),
brakes, and shifters. So I can't really ride it yet to get a
feel for the suspension.
The question is: The ETA is on the left leg, and the
positive air rebound is on the right, underneath an
adjustable knob. The literature says that the ETA is the
rebound, and the right leg knob should be compression
damping. However, when I change the right knob it seems to
effect the rebound, and when I added some air (recommended
0-15psi) it added to the overall stiffness of the fork.
Before anyone starts yelling at me, keep in mind that I am
new to air suspension (no RockShox this time).
TIA
