Earthcycles

View Full Version : Earthcycles

While participating in the July 4th Parade in Carmel,
Indiana the other day, I happened to spot two very
interesting recumbents. The first was an ActionBent. Looked
very nice, especially when you consider the price. The
second was a somewhat familiar-looking, very low bike. Made
by a defunct company called Earth Cycles. Brought back
memories of the Dragonflyer that was "stolen" from me at
auction... <g>

I believe the "thief" is away pile driving this week. Serves
him right I suppose.

Oh, I forgot about that. I've got some pictures of the bike,
too. It
looked very nice. He'll probably want to buy it from the
woman who owns it!

For the record, I have never placed an eBay bid on that
Earth Cycles Dragonflyer.

I did end with that particular trike, however.

Was her husband riding a Pharobike Lowfat? A very sensible
couple to own two lowracers with ISO 305-mm/ISO 406-mm
wheel sizes.

It would not be fair for one person to start monopolizing
red Sunsets.

Actually, I think he was riding an M5. And you're right:
you didn't place a bid for that trike.
