View Full Version : Is it a good idea to run treadmill in the basement
Hi:
Currently I run on my treadmilll in the basement. My main
concern is dust. I saw a lot of dust on the surface, but not
much dust in the air. Is this a problem?
Thanks!

Dust and dirt require more frequent service! They also get
into your lungs which you might want to consider.
No. Give the neighbors a hoot, and do it in the driveway. If
they ask.........tell em you're generating your own
electricity.

Sounds like a good excuse to finish the basement. A few new
light fixtures, some paneling and floor paint, drywall the
cieling, a big-screen tv with a home-theater setup....

In summertime? Are you crazy? I use a treadmill in the
basement in the offseason only. Be sure to set up a TV there
so you don't get bored to death. As long as you don't sweep
before running the dust shouldn't be an issue.

Sounds great, all you need is a nice massage table and a
cute young slut to give you a rub down after your run.
What's not to like.
