Q: The route has been slightly changed, will it affect he race?
QI: I don't think so. We have to give it everything on the Cipressa and then try and make the
decisive attack on the Poggio. It's the usual story but that's why San Remo is special.
R: Did the disappointment of last year teach you anything?
RI: Yes, especially after I'd seen the video of the race. I realized that there are ways that a
rider like me can try and win, perhaps from a small group or even on my own.
