Was that cold this morning in Melbourne or what?
git so cold i had to slow down or the air hitting my face/hands/head gave me ice-cream headaches adn made my hands numb
Think i got chill-blains (altho i dont really know what they are). Hands ached from trying to warm them up and went blotchy-red

After running last night I found I could barely walk this morning and
struggled for so long to wake up and move that I only had time to catch
the train in to work. So I missed the chill. Didn't seem as cold as some
other mornings though and it was foggy which always seems to keep the
heat in compared to those crazy-cold clear mornings...
Puncturing yesterday morning means two days with less than 10k riding.. :(
hippy

I normally cycle wearing my normal specs. Today I was so cold that my eyes were tearing up and I couldn't see where I was going. Now I don't know where I am!

Definitely one of the colder mornings for 04, although I think there were at least two earlier in the year when the hands just kept getting colder rather than eventually warming up a bit. There was also a bit of frost about which can make things a bit dicey on the floating sections of the path along the Yarra.

coldest morning of 04 (so far...), apparently!
i rode across the fairfield pipebridge which is steelplate surface (grrrrrrr)
and for the first time ever, the puddles of water on its surface were solid ice!!!
Had to get off and walk, not wanting to reenact the infamous
'bike-wont-turn-in-kink-of-bridge' bingle of 02
