What's a good frame that will be really sturdy but will allow for upgrades as you get better at mtbing?

What's a good frame that will be really sturdy but will allow for upgrades as you get better at mtbing?

It depends on your budget, but I know I'll open up a can of worms saying this....if you're looking for all out longevity of a frame that can take a beating and easily be repaired go w/ a high quality steel frame; Lugged steel if you can afford it.
