Any Opinions of Lone Peak panniers?
View Full Version : Any Opinions of Lone Peak panniers?
Just feilding opinions on different panniers before making a purchase....thanks.
I don't know Lone Peak but what I can definetely recommend is Ortlieb http://www.ortlieb.de/index_en.htm . Had them for 2 years and am very happy with them. Unlike most they are really water proof and the folding system they use is very practicle and allows you to adjust their size to the content you are carrying. Hope this helps.

Thanks. Yeah, I've looked in to Ortlieb but the price is a little out of my league. I know, people say you get what you pay for but I'm not up to that calibere of touring.
I posted a similar question here:

Not too many replies, but seems they are respectable, esp. for the price.
