View Full Version : Retrofitting rigid forks.

Hi everyone.

I have recently had to part with my collection of bikes, after threats of eviction from my landlady.

I parted with one of my mountain bikes (a Ridgeback Switch) and almost instantly regretted it. For those of you that haven't seen one look at www.ridgebackbikes.com. It's basically an MTB with rigid forks that feels like a road bike to ride. Slick tyres and (for an MTB anyway) a really serious turn of speed. I still have my hardtail, but I'm really missing that rigid fork.

So what I want to know is this - has anyone got any recommendations for a rigid fork to replace my suspension one? I would like it to have disc mounts, but otherwise no preferences.

Cheers.

Chris
