View Full Version : Stelvio Frame - which headset?

Hi all,

I recently bought a frame on Ebay - the marking is 'Stevio'. Has anyone ever heard of this?

The plan is to build it up into a racing bike over the coming months - hoping to get it ready for next spring - to enable me to spread the cost, get the bits I want and learn about bike maintenance as I go.

The main question I have at the moment is:

I am not sure which type of headset I require. I believe it is semi-integrated (internal) and the stem tube on the frame has no threading on it. Also, the internal diameter measurement of the stem tube is about 1 1/4" - does this mean I would require a 1 1/8" headset? Any recommendations? I am going to be buying carbon forks - was hoping for ITM millenium if compatible.

Many thanks in advance for any help/info that you may be able to provide.

Regards
Stu

Hi all,

Just in case anyone else comes across this type of frame:

It is designed to take an integrated headset - using a 1 1/8" threadless steerer fork.
